Henry Dick

MR. HENRY DICK Mr. Henry Dick, 83, retired carpenter, former employee of Columbia Construction and Maury County Government and a resident of Fly Road in the Santa Fe Community, died Friday, April 11, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Harold Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 12:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Lawrence County native was the son of the late Marion Milford Dick and Mamie Spires Dick and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Alice Dorine Smith Dick of Santa Fe; a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Jeff Boles of Williamsport; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Connie Dick of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Michelle (Tom) Baldwin of Raymond, Illinois, Patrick (Alissa) Andrews, Chris Dial, Amanda Dick, Kayla Dick, Jonathan (Beth) Boles, all of Columbia; a great-grandson, Dominic Andrews of Columbia; a sister, Birdie Thompson of Columbia; several nieces and nephews; two faithful companions, Puggy and Cuddles. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jewel Wilson and Iva Dick and two brothers, Eulis Dick and Eugene Dick. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
