HO Sims

MR. H. O. "OSCAR" SIMS Mr. H. O. "Oscar" Sims, 79, retired ironworker with Industrial Contractors, died Saturday, October 26, 2002 at his residence on Foster Chapel Road. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Ricky Cotton officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after 12:00 Noon Sunday at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Joseph William Sims and Mattie Belle Jones Sims. He was a member of the Cross Bridges Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Hester (Fred) Neiburger of Louisville, Kentucky and Marie Prince of Culleoka; a brother, Ralph (Era) Sims of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are Joey Sims, Will Sims, Matt Anderson, Cameron Sims, Chris Brandenburg, Steve Anderson, Carl Sims and Ricky Sims. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Cross Bridges Baptist Church.
