Horace Doggett

MR. HORACE DOGGETT William Horace Doggett, 91, retired farmer and former resident of Pickens Road in Lynnville, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Milton Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the son of the late Clyde Doggett and Edna Calvert Doggett. He was married to Neelye Ashton Doggett who preceded him in death on June 22, 1993. Mr. Doggett was a member of Lynnville Church of Christ. He is survived by one daughter, Janice (Gary) Burgess of Lynnville. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Stephenson and Anna Parker. Pallbearers will be Don Calvert, Shirley Ashton, Travis Burgess, Keith Burgess, David Burgess, and Jeff Bowman.
