Houston Blackburn "H.B." Stewart, 82, resident of Mooresville Pike, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Ronnie Parrish officiating. Born December 12, 1935 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Ethridge B. Stewart and the late Ruby Howell Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a retired self-employed truck driver for several years. Survivors include his wife, whom he married August 27, 1955, Wilma Jean Cooley Stewart of Columbia; sons, Terry Lee (Candy) Stewart of Columbia; Barry Wayne Stewart of Columbia; and Houston Glenn (Debbie) Stewart of Culleoka; daughters, Tina Marie Stewart of Columbia; Lorrie Ann (Ricky) Collins of Columbia; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Stewart; great granddaughter, Sandra Ann Cates-Collins; sisters, Adele Sims; and Patsy Stewart; and brothers, John L. Stewart; and Jimmy Stewart.
