MR. HOWARD SCOTT Mr. Howard Scott, 79, retired from the City of Columbia Street Department, died Saturday, March 6, 2004 at the residence of his dear sister-in-law on Snow Creek Road in the Santa Fe Community. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Ronnie Johnson and Rev. Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The Hickman County native was the son of the late Robert Scott and Daisy Ragsdale Scott and was a member of Elmore Church of The Nazarene. Survivors include a sister, Lee Anna Hill of Santa Fe; a sister-in-law, Nellie Scott of Columbia; special friend, Pam Collins of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hollis Scott and Monk Scott. Active pallbearers are Raybon Kelley, Billy Potts, Nicholas Hill, James Connelly, Raymond Beard, Clifton Scott. Honorary pallbearers include Jack Lockhart, Roy Morton, Gene Scott, Dr. Joynes and Staff and the Oncology Medical Staff at Maury Regional Hospital.
