Imogene N Dooley

Mrs. Imogene Nichols Dooley, 78, resident of West 9th Street, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Doug Kinnard officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Henry Nichols and Mary Howell Nichols. On January 20, 1945 she married Cecil Thomas Dooley who preceded her in death July 4, 1999. She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Tommy (Pat) Dooley and Randy Dooley both of Columbia; three grandchildren, Julie (Doug) Kinnard and Alan Dooley both of Columbia and Jeff (Shauna) Dooley of Spring Hill; two great-grandchildren, Lauren Kinnard and Abby Kinnard both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. Pallbearers will be Jerry Nichols, Dennis Ray Nichols, Mike Gibson, Charles Dillehay, Jeff Dooley and Larry Dooley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dooley, Kenny Dooley, Ronnie Dooley, Arnold Fox and Randall Dooley.
