Mrs. Ina Harvey Johnson Vaughn, 93, former resident of the Nashville Highway, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at Life Care Center of Columbia. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Jeremy Butt officiating. She was a life-long member of West 7th Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Vaughn was retired from Dixie Manufacturing Company where she was employed for 38 years. Survivors include two daughters, Geneva Johnson (Bill) Capps and Margaret Johnson Tracy of Columbia; a son, William M. (Marilyn) Johnson of Maryville; grandchildren, Linda (Evan) Dooley, Ronald (Kay) Curtis, Cindy Crowell of Columbia, David (Mary) Johnson, Mark (Lori) Johnson of Maryville, Keith (Angie) Johnson of Palm Beach, Florida; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie (George) Williams of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a son, Rayford Johnson and husbands, Robert C. Johnson in 1970 and Maxie Vaughn in 2004. Active pallbearers are Elders and Deacons of West 7th Street Church of Christ. Honorary pallbearers include Doris and Dick Stowers, Linda Davis, Katherine Jones, Blanch Dillard, Janet and Travis Roberts, Emily and J. B. Long, the Gipson Baucum and Jeremy Butt Sunday School Class at West 7th Street Church of Christ, Dr. William Robinson, and staff and nurses at Life Care Center.
