Inez Foster Goldman

Mrs. Inez Foster Goldman, 87, retired farmer and resident of Circle Drive, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Walter and Cordie Barnett Foster. A loving and devoted wife of 63 years, she was married January 6, 1946 to J. B. Goldman, whom she loved with all her heart and soul. She loved her God above all and her church, Highland Church of Christ. Mrs. Goldman enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden. Survivors in addition to her husband include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mai Lee Burns and a brother, Whit Foster. Active pallbearers are Phillip Paul, Jerry Weatherford, Jr., Jeffrey Weatherford, Bobby Thurman, Clovis Foster, Jr., and Randy Thurman. Honorary pallbearers include Charles Hall, Glenn Thurman, Billy Gowan, and Elders and Deacons of Highland Church of Christ. The Goldman family wishes to thank her wonderful and loving nurses in ICU, Rachel and Matthew, who were so sweet to her and the family.
