J. B. Fox, 77, self-employed painting contractor, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at his residence on Westgate Court. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in Totty's Bend Cemetery in Hickman County. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Marshall County native was the son of the late Ezekiel Fox and Maggie Davis Fox. He was married to Jimmie Kate Mathis Fox who preceded him in death on January 1, 1995. Mr. Fox was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Dwight (Cindy) Fox of Columbia; two brothers, Paul Fox of Vero Beach, Florida; Roy Fox of Lewisburg; three sisters, Mary McAdams of Lebanon; Fannie Druett of Columbia; Betty Ruth White of Lewisburg; one grandchild, Lonnie Fox, Jr. of Columbia; two great grandchildren, Nicole Fox and James Harrington, both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Fox, Sr.
