Jacob Alexander Almazan, 24, resident of Columbia, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Williamson County. A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2800 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401. The family will visit with friends Saturday, February 19th, 2022 from 12:00 noon until time of the services at the church. Born August 22, 1997 in Santa Clara, California, he was the son of Gabriel Almazan, Sr. and Rosa Evelia Almazan. Jacob went to Liberty Elementary School, and was a 2016 graduate of Spring Hill High School. He attended at Columbia State Community College and Tennessee Tech. Jacob worked at Kings Waterproofing as a field supervisor and was loved by many. He attended Highland Park Baptist Church youth group and with open arms he actively served the community with Elevate Youth Group, puppet team, and church choir. Jacob was a true heart of Gold, a warrior, our little star, a beam of sunshine even in the grey skies, the number one in our hearts, one on the filed with the heart of a champion with endless amount of love. Loved his family but above all Loved God. He accomplished so much in so little time. From the bottom of our hearts thank you and we love you. In addition to his parents, Gabriel and Rosa Almazan, survivors include his sister, Jenniffer Almazan, Gabriel Almazan, Jr.; nephew and niece, Joshua Gabriel Almazan and Annalee Rose Almazan; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his beloved Australian Shepard, Millie Rock.
