James White "Jim" Burcham, Jr., 52, stock trader and resident of Joelton, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, August 31, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Pulaski Pike, Columbia. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the church. The Maury County native was a 1973 graduate of Columbia Central High School and since early childhood a member of West 7th Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettie Ann Hardison Burcham in November, 2005. Survivors include his father, James W. "Jimmy" Burcham, Sr. of Columbia; sister, Belinda Burcham McAdams of Columbia; brother, Rob (Lisa) Burcham of Columbia; son, Seth Burcham; companion, Trina Scarpetti of Joelton; aunts, Jean (Dan) Hardison of Columbia, Mary Frances Wilson of Crewe, Virginia, Mary Ruth Jenkins; uncle, Bill Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.
