James Donald “Donnie James” Wray, 51, resident of McMinnville, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester.A memorial service will be held Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Goodspring, Giles County, Tennessee. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born January 12, 1967 in Giles County, he was the son of Linda Lorene Wray of Pulaski and the late Donald Albert Wray. Mr. Wray was a self-employed mechanic and had formerly worked at nursery and landscaping businesses in McMinnville and house painting. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Cody James Wray of Goodspring; sisters, Malinda Wiser of Pulaski and Christie (Darrell) Martin of Lewisburg; paternal grandmother, Katie Thomas of McMinnville; aunts, Norma Lumpkins, Peggy Hopkins, Kathy Wray, Frances Wray; and uncles, Keith Wray, Robin Wray, and J. D. Garner.He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald James Wray.
