James Early Worley

May 10, 1910 — March 18, 2006

Mr. James Early Worley, 95, retired repairman from Carl's TV Repair Service and resident of New Cut Road in the Groveland Community, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Eric Sandusky officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Dee Ernest Worley and Elizabeth Sharp Worley. Mr. Worley was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His wife, Mary Lucille Moser Worley died June 8, 1976. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Joe Cabana of Dade City, Florida and Bettye Malugin of Columbia; four grandchildren, Roger Worley of Seffner, Florida, James Worley of Columbia, Orlando Cabana of Atlanta, Georgia and Yolanda Amburgey of Dade City, Florida; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Dorothy Worley of Columbia. She was preceded in death by three children, Billy Ray Worley, James Earl Worley, Jr. and Caroline Sue Worley; two sisters, Mary Katherine Worley and Margie Parrish and a brother, Marvin Worley. Pallbearers are Homer Martin, Shane Sandusky, Scott Holt, Ben Clanton, Ray Williams and Jay Sterling.
