James Gordon Hickman Sr

James Gordon "Jimmy" Hickman, Sr., 73, resident of Michigan for over 50 years, died November 14, 2007 in White Lake, Michigan. Services were conducted in Michigan. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late William Gordon Hickman and Bertie Mae Weatherford Hickman and attended Mynders School. He left Maury County and began work with General Motors Corporation in Michigan retiring after 34 years of employment. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Maude Henri Hickman of White Lake, Michigan; children, Linda Gail (Mike) Trebillian, Peggy Jean (Ed) Reno, and Stephen Allen (Joanne) Hickman, all of Michigan; sisters, Joyce (Bob) Dugger of Spring Hill and Linda (Wayne) Tomlin of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Billy (Carolyn) Hickman of Giles County, Doug (Bonnie) Hickman, and Mike (Jody) Hickman, both of Columbia; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughters, Joyce Maria Hickman and Carole Ann Baker and son, James Gordon Hickman, Jr.; and brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Peggy Hickman.
