James Holt "Hoss" Richardson

James Holt “Hoss” Richardson, 79, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, May 31, 2020. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, June 22, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Friendship Cemetery with Bob Rush officiating. Born December 31, 1940 in Maury County, he was the son of the late W.A. Richardson, Sr. and the late Alvy Grace Holt Richardson. James was a 1958 graduate of Culleoka High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. Mr. Richardson retired from Union Carbon as a Master Electrician. He loved fishing, sitting on his back porch with his dog and cat. Mr. Richardson was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lillie Jeanette Deason Richardson of Culleoka; sons, James Neal Richardson of Culleoka; John Lee (Mary) Richardson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Jason Ward (Gloria) Richardson of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Danielle, Tyson, Hayden, and Peyton; great granddaughter, Olivia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, W. A. “Bill” Richardson, Jr., and Joseph Richardson, Sr.
