James C Maynard

James Cornell Maynard, 52, retired employee of General Motors and resident of Riverstone Drive, died Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Allens Funeral Home in Davison, Michigan. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Friday from 1:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Allens Funeral Home in Davison, Michigan. A native of Sanilac County, Michigan, he was the son of Norman Eugene Maynard and Pearl Eileen Patrick Maynard of Burton, Michigan. He was a member of United Auto Workers 1853. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Susan Marie Gibson Maynard of Columbia; two daughters, Jennifer (Jack) Aarand of Flint, Michigan; Judy (Peno) Alverez of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; one son, Jamison "Jamie" (Amanda) Maynard of Burton, Michigan; four stepdaughters, Julie Bolin, Angelia (Cameron) Potts, and Sarah Bolin, all of Columbia; Catherine Sue (Chris) Anderson of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and two step grandsons. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
