James Kenneth “Jimmy” Morrow, Sr., 87, retired farmer and longtime resident of Kettle Mills, died Friday, February 22, 2019 at Brookdale Assisted Living. A graveside service for Mr. Morrow will be conducted on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Morrow Cemetery with Barry Farris and John Vaughan officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 29, 1931 in Maury County, he was the son of the late James Wesley Morrow and Elizabeth Delk Morrow. He was married to Barbara Brown Morrow who preceded him in death on June 24, 2004. He was a member of Kettle Mills Church of Christ. Survivors include his daughters Susan (Wayne) Clendenen of Nashville, Melanie (Robert) Gibson of Culleoka, Penny Rink of Jonesboro, Georgia, Tracy Rinks (Randy Huey) of Mt. Pleasant; son James “Kenny” (Andrea) Morrow, Jr. of Hampshire; sister Kathryn Morrow of Columbia; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Morrow and Billy Dan Morrow. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
