James Alvin "Buddy" Randall, 77, retired electrician and former resident of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. David McGregor officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Davidson County native was the son of the late James Randall and Elsie Hutchison Randall Toone. He had worked for Radabaugh Electric Company and Middle Tennessee Armature Works. A former longtime resident of Spring Hill, Mr. Randall had lived at Columbia Care & Rehabilitation for the past several years. Survivors include one son, Gary W. (Deborah) Randall of Blountville; three sisters, Marjorie R. Brunson of Southport Community; Jennie Ruth Randall of Burns; Hattie Lucille Randall of Madison; three granddaughters, Kimberly Yancey Mock of Auburn, Alabama; Megan Randall of Knoxville; Patty Fly of Dallas, Texas; four grandsons, Randy Fly of Cookeville; Shaun Yancey and Jeremy Yancey, both of Lewisburg; Seth Randall of Knoxville; three great grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Randall Yancey. Pallbearers will be Jerry C. Brunson, Kenneth W. Batts, Harold L. Hutchison, Jr., David Hutchison, Jerry Renfro, Leonard Jarrett, Billy Yancey, Mike Hutchison, Bill Hutchison, Shane Seagraves, and Scott Seagraves. Honorary pallbearers will be Vester C.
