He was preceded in Mr. James Thomas Pratt, 51, resident of Lonesome Pine Road in Savannah, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jack White officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of Lillian Rummage Pratt of Savannah and the late Clarence Alford Pratt. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Pratt was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Survivors in addition to his mother are two daughters, Veronica Pratt (Chris) Fann of Greenwood, Mississippi, Angela Pratt (John) Usher of Savannah; one son, Chris (Rachel) Pratt of Slaughter, Mississippi; a cousin, Kathleen Murphy of Savannah; and eight grandchildren.death by one brother, Clarence Walter Pratt.
