Mr. James Collie Vaughan, 82, retired farmer and resident of Greens Mill Road in Spring Hill, died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12noon Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Methodist Church Cemetery in Little Lot. The Hickman County native was the son of the late Ellis Vaughan and Lera Warf Vaughan. He was first married to Elizabeth Ann Reaves Vaughan who preceded him in death in 1992. He later married Annie Bell Fly Vaughan of Spring Hill who survives him. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his wife are one son, Larry Wayne (Linda)Vaughan of Spring Hill; one daughter, Wanda (Bill) Smithson of Leoma; one step-daughter Brenda Faye Ranchino of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, Greg Neal, Jason Vaughan, Stephanie Smithson, Nathan Smithson, Matt Levi, Haley Ranchino, Hannah Ranchino; three great-grandchildren, Alex Neal, Clint Neal and Emily Vaughan; two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Vaughan, Douglas Vaughan and one grandson, Brian Scott Vaughan. Pallbearers will be Matt Levi, Jason Vaughan, Greg Neal, Nathan Smithson, Charles Pigg, Dickie Dean, Alex Neal and Pat Neal.
