Mr. James Hardin Warren, 77, retired overhead crane operator for Union Carbide Corporation and resident of Cheyenne Trail, died Friday, November 25, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. John Rushing and Rev. Clark Albright officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Odie Hardin Warren and Lizzie Mae Dunn Warren. He was a long-time member of Northside Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for several years. Mr. Warren served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Scribner Warren of Columbia; a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Clark Albright of Columbia; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Terri Warren of Cleveland and Michael and Juanita Warren of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Timothy Warren and Courtney Warren, both of Tullahoma, Katherine Albright, Bethany Albright and Preston Albright, all of Columbia. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred Warren, Leroy Warren, Charles Warren and Frank Warren. Active pallbearers are Al Stevens, Michael Beard, Ronald Schultz, Jim Dennison, Larry Warren, Gary Baker, John Conners and Chris Rushing. Honorary pallbearers include Bobby Potts, Jackie Potts, John Buchanan, Carl Boshers, Lambert Goad, Robert Presgrove, Walter Clot, Percy Rogers, Frank Lindsey, Boyd Roberts, J. C. Kelley, Vance Potts, and retired employees of Union Carbide Corporation.
