James Oak Wiley, 90, resident of Napier Drive, retired farmer and former longtime resident of Polk Lane, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of the late Menton Wiley and Cora Smith Wiley. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Everett Wiley, Grover Wiley, Revis Wiley and Sam Wiley; and five sisters, Zora McKee, Willie Green, Martha Wiley, Mary Brown, and Rosie Spires. Pallbearers will be Arnold Grooms, Charles Grooms, Danny Grooms, Danny Grooms, Jr., Roy Wayne Grooms, and Tony Grooms. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Moataz Toban and staff.
