Jane Wilkes Caldwell Luna, 91, retired antique dealer and resident of Turpin Circle, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Spencer officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 - 1:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Born June 22, 1922 in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Howell P. "Skinny" Caldwell and Frances Gambill McDonald. On September 8, 1957 she married John William Luna who preceded her in death on May 29, 2003. Mrs. Luna was employed as bookkeeper for Park's Feed & Seed prior to opening Luna's Antiques on the Santa Fe Pike which she and her husband operated for forty years. In addition to being an antique appraiser, avid collector of stamps and antiques, she was an authority on Tennessee and Kentucky antique furniture. Mrs. Luna was a genealogist and had published two books on her family ancestry. She was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and United Daughters of the Confederacy. Survivors include her daughter, Frances "Fran" Kerr Givens of Columbia; grandchildren, Kimberly Mingledorff Stebbins and Phyllis Click Piercy, both of Columbia; Tracy Mingledorff (Dennis) Godshall of Harleysville, Pennsylvania; Elizabeth Mingledorff (Brad) Stebbins of Longview, Texas; and Tony (Renee) Click of Columbia; ten great grandchildren; niece, Janie McCormack Sanders of Nashville; nephews, James M. "Jimbo" McCormack, Alvin (Malinda) Luna, and Lewis (Patsy) West, all of Columbia; and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Delilah Joy "Dee" Kerr Mingledorff and a sister, Joy Caldwell McCormack. Pallbearers will be Tyler Luna, Alvin Luna, Blaine Click, Conner Click, Tony Click, and Dustin Piercy.
