Janice Faye Hendley McKennon, 73, resident of Hohenwald, died Monday, June 17, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00- 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born October 24, 1945 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Hendley and the late Clara Marie Barnes Hendley. She worked at Publix Shirt Factory and Inner City Products for several years. She was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord and her family. Ms. McKennon especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Johnny) Hinson, Angela (Chris) Potts, Jerri Warren, Brandy (Scotty) Nelson; son, Darryl (Melissa) McKennon; grandchildren, Jeremy (Mica) Webb, Christy (Derek) Bullion, Daniel McKennon, Taylor McKennon, Madison Potts, Michael Potts, Matthew Potts, Kelsey Warren, Damron Nelson, Serenity Nelson; seven great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; sister, Tamatha Taylor; brothers, Randall (Betty) Hendley, Ricky Hendley; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joel Hendley. Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
