View Funeral Webcast Janice Marie Clark Brown, 77, retired LPN for Bel-Air Nursing Home and resident of Lawrenceburg, died peacefully Sunday at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Born September 26, 1942 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Clark and the late Elizabeth Doggett Clark. In 1991, she married her husband David Brown who preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Brown loved to listen to gospel music and to read. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Watts, Teresa Pugh, Kila (Jim) Hicks, and Lori (Craig) Makey; son, Raymond David Moore; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 6 siblings; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Moore, Jr.; granddaughter, Samantha Watts; and 2 siblings. Active pallbearers will include Brandon Watts, Jason Scott, Sam Race, Jeffery Moore, Randall Himes, and Lori Race. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Watts.
