Janie Louise Hargrove

Janie Louise Hargrove, 94, retired employee of Wal-Mart and Ben Franklin Store and resident of Boston – Theta Road, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at NHC Maury Regional. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Theodore Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Sparkman Cemetery. The family will visit the friends Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to Fairview Church of Christ, 4190 Fairview Road, Columbia, TN 38401 or Sparkman Cemetery, 5650 Leipers Creek Road, Franklin, TN 37064. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 31, 1924 in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Hargrove and the late Hattie Inman Hargrove. She was a 1943 graduate of Spring Hill High School. Miss Hargrove was a lifetime member of Fairview Church of Christ, enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk, shopping and gardening. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Hargrove; J.W. Hargrove; and Milton Hargrove. Active pallbearers will be Charlie Mosley, Jamie Smithson, David Fitzgerald, Dustin Fitzgerald, William Mosley, and Brandon Mosley. Honorary pallbearers include Brent Lemay, Claude Fitzgerald, and members of Fairview Church of Christ.
