MRS. HOWARD EDWARD PARRISH Mrs. Janie Louise Ladd Parrish, 80, widow of Howard Edward Parrish and a resident of the Santa Fe Pike, died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Haynes Cemetery with Rev. Steve Kelley officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent towww.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Thomas Newton Ladd and Jessie Ophelia Whitaker Ladd. She was a graduate of Spring Hill High School and a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie (John) Chadwell; two grandsons, Michael (girlfriend, Amanda Alexander) Wright and Tandy (girlfriend, Kay Puckett) Wright; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Wright, Benjamin Wright, William Alley; two sisters, Mrs. Doris (Jimmy) Cranford and Mrs. Ruby Curtis; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Ladd, all of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Graham; a sister, Ruth Smith and a brother, Billy Ladd. Pallbearers are Donald Walters, Arch Warren, Tim Dillehay, Branden Marino, Jamie Brocker, James Grayland Huey and Ray Messick.
