MRS. DONALD M. SCOTT Mrs. Jean Trousdale Scott, 77, former co-owner and operator of Riverside and Hatcher Lane Markets, died Friday, October 24, 2003 at her residence on Hilltop Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with John Vaughan, Wendell Robinson and Vinton Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Wilkes Cemetery in Culleoka. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Graymere Lads & Leaders, in care of Graymere Church of Christ, 1320 Trotwood Avenue, Columbia, 38401; the Girl Scout Council of Cumberland Valley, 4572 Granny White Pike, P.O. Box 40466, Nashville, 37204-0466; or the BGA Golf Team, in care of Battle Ground Academy, 366 Ernest Rice Lane, Franklin, 37069. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Maury Vernon Trousdale and Brownie Hobbs Trousdale and a graduate of Culleoka High School. She was a member of the Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Donald M. Scott, well-known livestock dealer and sportsman; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Kay and Don Vick of Franklin and Tammy Jean and Bill Riley of Columbia; four grandchildren, Matthew Paul Vick, Scott Andrews Vick, Stephanie Jean Riley and William Scott Riley; a sister, Harriett T. Dugger of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers Mike Dugger, Dan Dugger, David Dugger, Ben Leibner, Danny Morgan, Brent Turner, and Joe Wakham.
