Mrs. Nolia Jean Skelley Warf, 86, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at her residence on Robert Skelley Road. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Muston officiating. Burial will follow in Knob Creek Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born March 12, 1929 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Benton Skelley and Louise Haywood Skelley. On November 24, 1949, she married Harold "Buck" Warf who preceded her in death June 9, 1997. As a young lady, she was employed at Farm Bureau; and after her marriage, her life and love centered around her family and friends as she brought much warmth and love to all. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers and keeping a tidy house. She was a member of Knob Creek Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for several years. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Constance "Connie" Warf of Santa Fe; son, Richard Harold (Sheila) Warf of Nashville; grandson, Brian Thomas Warf of Nashville; brother, Clyde Walker Skelley of Santa Fe; sister, Rebecca Ruth Skelley Wall of Columbia; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Thomas "Bobby" Warf and one brother, Melvin Robert Skelley. Pallbearers will be Mike Wall, David Wall, Rickey Skelley, Dennis Skelley, Ronnie Skelley, and Tim Skelley. Honorary pallbearers will include Jimmy Massey, Jamie Smithson, and members of Knob Creek Baptist Church.
