Mrs. Jeanie Johnson Mrs. Jeannine "Jeanie" Haygood Johnson, 72, retired employee of General Electric and the Maury County Visitor's Bureau, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Life Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Lauderdale County, Alabama, native was the daughter of the late Otis Haygood and Donna Cross Haygood Keeton. She was first married to Charles E. Gray who died in 1963 and later married Rayford Johnson who also preceded her in death in 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Gray Bland & Bruce Bland of Gallatin; Shane Gray Heisler of Columbia; two sons, Gary & Debbie Gray of Columbia; Michael S. "Mike" Gray of Hermitage; two sisters, Dorothy Snider of Lawrenceburg; Judy Burns Alvarado of San Antonio, Texas; half sister, Donna Haygood of Nashville; half brother, Larry Haygood of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Michael Bland, Shannon Bland Taylor, Kristie Gray Smith, Steven Gray, Joshua Gray, Leigh Gray Bravo, Chad Carpenter, and Kylie Carpenter Thompson; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Grady Haygood. Pallbearers will be Michael Bland, Ronnie Taylor, Steven Gray, Joshua Gray, Chad Carpenter, and Mike Swing.
