Jeffrey Kinzer "Jeff" Baker, 40, self-employed land developer, owner-operator of Tennessee Home Center and resident of Round House Court in Centerville, died Friday, November 12, 2004 at Hickman Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with David Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Maury County. Born in the Lynnville Community, he grew up in Columbia and attended Maury County schools and at the age of seventeen worked at Southway Auto Sales. He also served in the U. S. Army and attended the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Carla Bennett Baker of Centerville; a daughter, Kristin Darlene Baker of Centerville; a son, Lance Kinzer Baker of Centerville; his mother, Darlene Love Kennedy of Mt. Pleasant; his father, Carl H. Baker, Jr. of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Ruth Love of Columbia; paternal grandparents, Alberta and Carl H. Baker, Sr. of Williamsport; a sister, Teresa (John) Tice of Cossett, Arkansas; a brother, Steven Houston (Tina) Roscoe of Redfield, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Billy Kennedy, Jerry Kennedy, Wayne Kennedy, Gerry Bennett, Tony Love and Johnny Love.
