View Video Tribute Jeffrey Dale Fox, 59, died Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his residence in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Greg Gwin officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mr. Fox was a former employee of General Electric and Peterbilt, before working 22 years at Calsonic Kansei in Lewisburg. An avid car and gun enthusiast, Mr. Fox was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved antiques and westerns. Mr. Fox was a devoted Christian man and a member of Collegevue Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Elaine Chapman Fox; father, Thomas Homer Fox; beloved aunt and uncle, Dixie and Charles Gravette; and sister, Shirley E. Fox Hanvey. Survivors include his daughters, Rebecca Fox (David) Jones of Tullahoma; Lacy Fox (Jesse) Wellman of McMinnville; Shelly Fox (William) Carmichael of McMinnville; grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Olivia Jones, Hannah Wellman, Alison Jones, Liam Carmichael, Colby Wellman, Briar Wellman, Gabriel Carmichael, and Jacy Wellman; sister, Denise Fox Benefield of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; niece, Samantha Attkisson Anderson of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; nephew, Jeremiah Benefield of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; great nephew, Ty Howard; great nieces, Aliah Howard and Sophie Howard. Active pallbearers will be Jeremiah Benefield, Ty Howard, Nathan Jones, Bobby Fox, Trenton Smith, Nicky Benefield, Wayne White, and Trent Odom. Honorary pallbearers include Elders of Collegevue Church of Christ.
