View Funeral Webcast Jennifer Powell Whittington, 43, of Culleoka, Tennessee died Sunday, October 25, 2020. The wife of Richard Whittington, mother of Ben and Nathan Whittington, her courage, dignity, strength, and grace during a long battle with cancer was an inspiration to all. Originally from Manchester, Tennessee, she was the daughter to Gayla and Prater Powell. Jennifer was a pharmacist by trade and a lover of donuts, the beach, and hip-hop music. Despite putting ketchup on steak and shrimp, she possessed a strength of character and faith that could endure any adversity. Most of all we will miss her smile that could light up a room and her delightfully biting sarcastic wit. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, November 2, 2020 at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Father Chris Bowhay officiating. The service will begin at 3:30 PM, following a time of fellowship and photographs accompanied by Jennifer’s carefully cultivated playlist for this event which will begin at 3:00 PM.
