Jerry Bruce Caskey

Jerry Bruce Caskey, age 74 of Gainesville, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, October 9, 2017, with a prayer service at 7:30 PM, at the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. Jerry honorably served our country as a sergeant in the Air Force where he excelled in electronics. He was an accomplished musician since the age of thirteen, playing primarily the saxophone and piano, and composing many original songs. Jerry was also the owner of WSA Atlanta, a commercial fire alarm and security systems company. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Skillas; son, Jon Caskey (Cherlyn); daughters, Karen Ketchum (Chris), Tina Vliet (Corey) and Norma Caskey; stepsons, William Skillas and Kyle Zak; stepdaughter, Kristin Skillas; brother, Jake (Peggy) Caskey; sister, Jane Robinson (Bob); nine grandchildren; and nephews, Mike Caskey, Todd Caskey, and Dave Caskey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Peggy Caskey.
