Mr. Jerry Lee Crigger, Sr., 54, retired employee of Triangle Auto Springs and resident of Theta Pike, died Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Crigger will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Vannoy officiating. Burial will be in Potts Cemetery with military honors provided by Lawrenceburg VFW Post 1618 Firing Squad. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 2 -8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Marshall County native was the son of the late Marvin Preston Crigger and Lula Bell Reed Crigger. He was a 1967graduate of Culleoka High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a disabled veteran. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion. He attended the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Loftin Crigger of Columbia; a son, Jerry Lee (Rachel) Crigger, Jr. of Marina, California; two daughters, Jada (Ted) Howell of Mt. Pleasant, Justice (Roberto) Estrada of Columbia; three step-children, Cheyenne (Shaun) Nay, Cody Allen Hay, Lauren Hay all of Columbia; one step-grandson, Max Estrada of Columbia; two sisters, Lady (Joe) Watson of Summertown, Charlene (Harvey) Victory of Lewisburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bobby Crigger, James Crigger, Billy Crigger, Ewell Crigger and one sister, Dorothy Patterson. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Crigger, Jr., William Hines, Bill Crigger, Robert Crigger, Billy Andrews, Billy Watson, David Sparks, and Ewell Crigger, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvin Collins, Roy Osborne, Don Osborne, Robert Taylor and Paul Wall.
