Jerry Lee Fitzgerald, 49, employee of Sole-Support in Dickson and resident of Vestal Hollow Road in Santa Fe, died Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. J. O. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Carlisle Cemetery in Williamson County. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday after 2:00 P.M. at the funral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of James E. Fitzgerald of Santa Fe and the late Ida Mai Beard Fitzgerald. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Judy Elizabeth Woffard Fitzgerald of Santa Fe; one daughter, Jennifer Leigh Fitzgerald of Conway, Arkansas; one son, Jeffery Eugene Fitzgerald of Santa Fe; two stepsons, Gary Roy Tomlin of Nashville; Jerry Lee Tomlin of Pleasantview; two brothers, Robert (Tammy) Fitzgerald and Marvin Fitzgerald, both of Santa Fe; sisters, Carolyn Ann Oakley and Sandra Faye (David) Hall, both of Santa Fe; B. J. Haynes of Killen, Alabama; three step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Edward "Jim" Fitzgerald. Pallbearers will be Eddie Beard, Jimmy Wayne McKelvey, Jeffery Fitzgerald, Andy Bennett, James Binkley, David Hall, and Daniel Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Hill, Jerry Tomlin, and Gary Tomlin. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Fifth Floor Neuro ICU at Vanderbilt Hospital and staff of Hidden Acres Nursing Home in Mt. Pleasant.
