Mr. Jerry Lee LeMay, 60, resident of Flag Springs Road in Lynnville, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at V. A. Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Ethridge native was the son of the late Leroy LeMay and Lucille Wyrick Christopherson. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a former truck driver and loved fishing and camping. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ann Hendrix LeMay of Lynnville; one daughter, Sonya Brandon of Mt. Pleasant; one uncle, Vestal (Dorothy) Wyrick of Summertown; one step-daughter, Cathy Carver of Murfreesboro; step-father, Don Christopherson of Columbia; four grandchildren, Jason Luna and Jessica Luna both of Lewisburg, Jade Carver and Gabriel Carver both of Murfreesboro; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheri Lynn LeMay and three brothers. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
