Jerry Wayne Young, 69, resident of Trotwood Avenue, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with his cousin, Steve Boshers and Pastor Lawrence Jackson officiating. He served in the United States Navy and United States Airforce. He earned his Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University and worked as a government contractor where he retired. After retirement, he moved back to Maury County to be with his family. Mr. Young enjoyed traveling the world and his cats.In addition to his mother, Mildred Frances Young, survivors include his brother, Dennis (Kay) Young, Sr.; nephew, Dennis Young, Jr.; niece, Regan Young (Todd) Rooks; three great nephews; and one great niece. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
