View Video Tribute View Service Jerry Wade Sullivan, 72, life-time farmer, lift-operator for Fox Hardwood Lumber and life-long resident of Primm Springs, died Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Ragsdale and Tommy Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Oakley Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born September 5, 1949 in Williamson County, he was the son of Thelma Jane Gordon Sullivan and the late Doyle W. Sullivan. He was a 1967 graduate of Santa Fe High School. On May 20, 1969 he was drafted into the United States Army during Vietnam, where he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Campaign Medal. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed farming, riding his four wheeler and checking his cows. Most importantly he was a devoted husband, daddy, grandpa, and papa. In addition to his mother, Jane Gordon Sullivan of Primm Springs, Survivors include his wife of 49 years, whom he married March 31, 1973, Karen Anderson Sullivan of Primm Springs; children, Angela (Kevin) Hall of the Leatherwood Community; Steven (Kamiko) Sullivan of Linden; Jennifer (Ben) Conner of Bon Aqua; Daniel (Brianna) Sullivan of Primm Springs; Greg (Kaitlyn) Sullivan of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Justin Hall, Colton Hall, Hunter Hall, Abigail Sullivan, Tyler Sullivan, Natalie Sullivan, Jacob Conner, Chase Conner, Keegan Sullivan, Cole Sullivan, Lainey Sullivan, and soon to be granddaughter in December; brothers, Dale (Leia) Sullivan, Roger (Nancy) Sullivan; sisters, Delores (Jimmy) McEwen, Victoria (Wendell) Gordon; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Justin Hall, Tyler Sullivan, Josh Potts, Eric Law, Bill McCord, and Sam Moss. Honorary pallbearers include employees of Fox Hardwood Lumber.
