Jerry Thomas Weatherford

View Video TributeJerry Thomas Weatherford, age 49, and a resident of Columbia lost his six year battle with cancer on May 19, 2015 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Jerry was a 1983 graduate of Culleoka High School. A native of Maury County Jerry was born June 2, 1965 and was the "precious" son of Linda Gayle Burns Weatherford of Stiversville and Jerry Thomas Weatherford, Sr. of Culleoka. In addition to his parents he is survived by three children, Racheal Nicole, Jessica Brianne and Jerry Shain, one brother Jeffrey Scott Weatherford and one grandson, Brantley Rae-Thomas "Little Buckeye", and his loyal dog for nine years, Louie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Mai Lee Burns and Sherrill and Aline Weatherford. There will be a graveside service for Jerry at Glenwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Brother Barry England and Brother Kerry Couch officiating. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Richardson, Dr. Jameson and all the wonderful people at the Cancer Center, all his wonderful friends and classmates who texted him daily with cheerful and uplifting messages and to West 7th Street Church of Christ for all the kindnesses shown Jerry and his family.
