Jimmy Rochelle, 76, retired owner of The Bargain House and Hometown Furniture, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at his residence on Sunnymeade Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Macer and Jordan Massey officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Jimmy was born May 12, 1939 in Maury County, the son of the late Wiley Marion Rochelle and Rosa Lee Potts Rochelle Cook. On June 4, 1960, he married his life-long love, Linda Hickman Rochelle and they recently celebrated their 55th Anniversary. He was an avid gardener and loved beautiful flowers. He enjoyed fishing, U.T. football, eating breakfast out with his brother-in-law, and visiting his son at his workplace every morning. Jimmy loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and granddog, Tilly. Jimmy leaves behind his loving wife Linda; daughters, Carol (Tim) Massey, Tracy (John) Billingsley; son, Jim (Katrina) Rochelle; grandchildren, Joshua (Claire) Massey, Jordan (Elizabeth) Massey, Savannah Billingsley, Angel Billingsley, Christian Billingsley, Jennifer (Darrell) Smith, Jessica (Glenn) Linton; and great grandchildren, Alayna Massey, Henry Massey, Sawyer Massey, Courtney Ulin, Lily Linton, Luke Hagan, and Jack Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Garland Rochelle. Pallbearers will be Jordan Massey, Josh Massey, Tim Massey, J. B. Hickman, Jr., DeWayne Hickman, and Sean Kelley.
