Jo Ann Riley Anderson

Jo Ann Riley Anderson, 84, homemaker, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at her residence on Enterprise Road in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Parkway Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Roberts and Donald Paul officiating. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the daughter of late George Joseph Riley and Lessie Kathrine Vandiver Riley. On December 15, 1945 she married Earnest Simpson Anderson who preceded her in death August 23, 1996. The wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going fishing. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Loyce Anderson (Patsy Mosley) of Columbia; daughters & sons-in-law, Kathrine & Larry Nicholson of Columbia; Oma & Robert Wilhelm of Mt. Pleasant; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, George Anderson; two brothers; and five sisters. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers include her great grandchildren.
