Mrs. Betty Joan Clark Wilsford, 71, retired Central High School Cafeteria Manager, died Friday, December 19, 2003, at her residence on Pullen Mill Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. E. G. Sims and Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Sunday after 2:00 P.M. at the church. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Eddie Clark and Gertie Mantlo Clark. She was a 1950 graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Columbia Business College. Mrs. Wilsford served as Treasurer of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women, was Treasurer of the School Lunch Bunch and was a member of the Wagon Wheelers and Campbell Station FCE. Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Jack Wilsford of Culleoka; two daughters, Mrs. Jackie (Jeff) Halter of Trenton, New Jersey; Mrs. Terri (Mike) Brundige of Martin, Tennessee; one brother, Paul H. Clark of Maryville; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Mahony of Yardley, Pennsylvania; Jeffrey Halter, Jr. of Trenton, New Jersey; Kenny Brundige, Chris Brundige, and Amy Beth Brundige, all of Martin; one great grandchild, Jackson Clark Mahony; and one nephew, Butch Clark. Pallbearers will be Jeff Halter, Mike Brundige, Jeffrey Halter, Kenny Brundige, Chris Brundige, Butch Clark, Charles Martin, and Jerald Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dorothy Campbell and members of the Senior Sunday School Class of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
