Johanna Hendricks

Mrs. Johanna Socha Hendricks, 98, homemaker and resident of Lyon Street, died Thursday, September 29, 2005, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral mass will be recited at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Clare J. Hendricks officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. A native of Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Socha and Johanna Krasula Socha. She was married to Clare James Hendricks who preceded her in death in 1969. Survivors include two sons, Clare J. Hendricks and Carl Hendricks, both of Columbia; one sister, Marie Velligan of Granada Hills, California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Stephanie Poloncak and Irene Socha; and two brothers, Joseph Socha and Charles Socha. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
