View Funeral Webcast John Allen Elias, 82, owner of Elias Construction Company, Inc., Elias Golf Cart, former owner of Maury Fence Company, and resident of Columbia, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Graymere Church of Christ with John Vaughan and Andrew Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Born June 25, 1940 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Meshel Elias and the late Janie Matthews Elias. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. Mr. Elias was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, whom he married August 12, 1962, Ann Angus Elias of Columbia; daughter, Leah Elias (Bill) Fuller of Columbia; son, Scott Allen (Monica) Elias of Columbia; grandchildren, Will (Paige) Fuller, Cannon (Tenneal) Fuller, Tori Elias, Sophie Elias all of Columbia; sister, Ellen E. Helton of Smyrna; and nephew, Dr. Michael (Melissa) Helton of Smyrna. Active pallbearers will be Will Fuller, Cannon Fuller, Dr. Michael Helton, Mark Lovell, Tracy Lovell, Bill Fuller, and Mark McMeen. Honorary pallbearers Don Howell, Carl Pigg, Donald Briggs, Jimmy Baker, Ken Roberson, Steve Bostleman, James Davis, Mickey Farlow, Wendell Robinson, Jack Malone, and Tommy Peebles.
