JOHN MOORE John Wallace Moore, 58, insurance adjuster with Mid-South Claims, died Thursday, October 31, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Brown officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 in Ebenezer Cemetery in Hustburg, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A native of Jackson, Tennessee, he was the son of the late A. U. Moore and Mary Evelyn Wallace Moore. He was a graduate of Northside High School in Jackson and received his BS Degree from Lambuth College. Mr. Moore served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Bigbyville United Methodist Church and the Maury County Gun Club. An avid member of the APTA, he had served on the board of the Athenaeum and volunteered as tour guide for Living History for Maury County.Survivors include his wife, Wanda Moore of Columbia; one daughter, Jennifer Moore of Columbia; special neighbors, Anne and Roy Parrish of Columbia; and several cousins, including Carolyn Lallemand of LaVergne. Pallbearers will be Terry Yanessa, Jeff Wilkinson, Larry Butler, Dr. Garry Love, Jim Wilkinson, Byron Cox, Bill Capps and Farrell Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Parrish, Roy Pritchard, Thomas "Toolie" Johns and members of APTA.
