Johnnie O. Flowers Mr. Johnnie Ostien Flowers, 67, former resident of Maury County, died June 16, 2004 at his residence in Davenport, Florida. Services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Haines City, Florida with Chaplain John Scott officiating.A Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. The family will visit with friends after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. He was a graduate of Hampshire High School, Columbia State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University. In 1998, he moved to Florida at his retirement from the State of Tennessee with twenty-five years service. He served as Director of Tennessee Business Enterprises, a division of Services for the Blind. Survivors include his wife, Vada Fairbanks Flowers of Davenport, Florida; a daughter, Pam (David) Perdue of Columbia; a son, Tim (Debbie) Flowers of Hampshire; a step-daughter, Crystal L. Hill of Kaiserslautern, Germany; mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Bea Fairbanks of Davenport, Florida; a granddaughter, Mary Katherine "Katie" Flowers; a grandson, Scott Rummage; step-grandchildren, Taber Hill, Brennan Hill, Kaylan Hill; nieces, Carla (Jared) Blaiser and Laura (Donnie) Henegar.
