JOHNNY MAY, JR. Mr. Johnny Thomas May, Jr., 36, former employee of Essex and resident of Campbellsville Pike in Lynnville, died Thursday, October 16, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at1:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Terrell Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. The Davidson County native was the son of Jean Darlene Daniels May of Lynnville and the late Johnny Thomas May, Sr. He was a graduate of Spring Hill High School and a member of Big Creek Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his mother include two brothers, Lonnie (Karen) May and Forrest May both of Columbia; one nephew, Forrest May, Jr. of Columbia; and one cousin, Crystal (Joey) Gideon of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Todd Curry, Mark Curry, Steve Griffin, Dennis beaver, Todd Tate, Judd Curry, Joey Gideon and Clay Pipkin. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Sowell, Jason Tate, Steve Blake, Dale McCord, Roger Brown, Brad Collins, Joey Hargrove, Todd Prince, Damien Prince, Essex Employees and men of Big Creek Church of Christ.
