View Funeral Service WebcastJon Harvey Pressnell, Jr., 30 employee of Delta Contractors and resident of Spring Hill, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. David McGregor officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. Born in Maury County, he was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and won a state-wide auto-mechanics competition as a freshman. He was a former employee of Columbia Rock Products and Industrial Contractors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and built and raced limited late model dirt car at Summertown. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Stack Beddingfield of Spring Hill; his father, Jon Harvey (Janice) Pressnell, Sr. of Columbia; daughter, McKenzie Lauren Pressnell of Culleoka; half-sister, Renee' (Tony) Click of Columbia; step-brothers, Jonathan Bone and Heath (Natalie) Bone of Columbia; step-fathers, Dr. M. H. Holland and Ricky Beddingfield of Columbia; aunt, Sisse (Mike) Pfieffer of Franklin; uncles, Allen (Pam) Pressnell of Columbia and Bob (Paula) Stack of Memphis; mother of his daughter, Jessica Schulenberg of Culleoka; several nieces,nephews, and cousins. Pallbearers are Jeff Prince, Timmy Anderson, Jonathan Bone, Heath Bone, Chris Hughes, and Aaron Hughes. Honorary pallbearers are Shae Pfieffer, Hal Pressnell, and employees of Delta Contractors.
