View Video TributeView Funeral WebcastMr. Jon Harvey Pressnell, Sr., "Jonnie Rock", 62, resident of Carpenters Bridge Road, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Vann officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Harry Allen Pressnell, Sr. and Pauline Norman Pressnell. He was Vice President of Industrial Contractors and Vice President of Columbia Rock Products. Jonnie was a racing enthusiast and had his own racing team called "Rock Racin'." He was a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Janice Taylor Pressnell of Columbia; daughter, Reneé (Tony) Click of Columbia; sister, Sisse (Mike) Pfieffer of Columbia; two stepsons, Jon Bone of Columbia, Heath (Natalie) Bone of Santa Fe; grandchildren, McKenzie Pressnell, Blaine Click, Conner Click, Allie Click, Emery Click, Hannah Bone, Shelby Bone and J.W. Bone; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jon Harvey Pressnell, Jr. in 2009 and a brother, Harry Allen Pressnell, Jr. in 2013. Pallbearers include Blaine Click, Terry Dial, George King, Harold Shaw, Ty Cobb, Sterling Marlin, Russell Dial and Tommy Logue.
